The boys win their first under Ghotbi
Team Melli won its first friendly under new Head Coach Afshin Ghotbi.
The Boys defeated Indonesia 5-0 in Karaj Enghelab Stadium in front of a small crowd of 20,000.
The first half was mostly uneventful until Indonesia gave up the lead due to a defensive mistake. In the second half, however, the Boys were more attack minded and managed to play a more cohesive game, and were rewrded for it with four unanswered goals scored by Zandi (2), Borhani, and Khalatbari.
Although Indonesia is not ranked highly in Asia, this is still a good start for the new coach and his team.
Let’s hope they can continue on this path for the next few weeks.

LOL! Honestly I am not worried about traffic per say, but I hope to get a crowd like the one we had before and during Germany 2006. Remember those days?
