There no defending Team Melli’s defense!
November 3rd, 2008 | By: Afshin Afshar | No Comments »
Team Melli has had a long history of vulnerable and sometimes downright weak and porous defenses. However, their generally solid midfield and offense has usually compensated for the lack of reliable defense, but since Ali Daei and later Vahid Hashemian’s heydays, we have not had a consistent goal scorer. With games against South Korea and Saudi Arabia in the horizon this could mean trouble for Team Melli.
My friend Kaveh Mahjoob has written a short article about Team Melli’s defensive challenges. Click here to read the article.
